Dr. Abhishek Uppal is a Senior Resident at the Department of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging, Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram, where he joined TPPL in 2024. He is a Nuclear Medicine Physician specialising in Functional & Molecular Imaging and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, and is actively involved in AI research in precision oncology.

Dr. Uppal completed his MBBS at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana (2014–2020), followed by MD Nuclear Medicine at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (2020–2023), where he was awarded the Gold Medal with Honours. He continued at Tata Memorial as Senior Resident in Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging from 2023 to 2024 before joining FMRI in 2024.

He is a qualified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO — Nuclear Medicine), certified in 2023.
